25/02/18 – It has been one week since our first event went live and we have decided to adapt our event as:

LET’S BUILD THE FUTURE: The start of our entrepreneurial journey.

We feel that this is important – the main inspiration of our effort has been inspired by those innovators down in Silicon Valley who are changing the world and shaping the future.

Of course, this is also the start of our journey, our as in, the entire ecosystem that we are trying to develop.  An ecosystem of collaboration and innovation journeying forwards into the future through the creation of the startups of the future.

On another note, if you haven’t heard of it already, we greatly recommend that you give Zero to One by Peter Thiel a read. A good beginners insight into startups and how to build the future.

24/02/18 – Ever have a great solution for a problem at work just for it to be ignored and rejected? These six reasons may help you understand why.

P.S. It’s not you, it’s them.

23/02/18Entrepreneurship isn’t easy as this article demonstrates.

We find it useful to listen to as many people that have gone through the process in order to really gauge whether we are on the right path.

22/02/18 -This has a very interesting list of the most innovative companies of 2018 organised by sector!

If you notice beside each company name, they all have a single sentence describing their aim. This is the way to go – ensure your startup or idea has one key aim and focus all of your energy towards making that happen!

21/02/18 – This blueprint is exactly what The Startup Social is aiming towards – “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together”.

We can’t agree more with this statement from the article: “You innovate, solve problems together, bring together cross-functional expertise and knowledge to build an app, see a new solution, or tackle a coding issue. That’s how most startups see collaboration.”

Collaboration is key to innovating and coming up with new solutions to the world’s problems.

20/02/18 – We are going to try and post regular articles that are worth reading for your own interest.

This is an interesting article regarding the big tech firms, such as Amazon and Apple, and their approaches to tackling healthcare.

Healthcare is an area that really lags behind regarding the adoption of new technology so there is plenty of opportunity for growth and innovation! If they see an opportunity – so should we! Let’s embrace future health and enjoy this journey of AI, robotics and technological advancement.

19/02/18 – Our first event went live yesterday on social media! We hope that we will get to meet loads of aspiring innovators and entrepreneurs as our community grows.
